In 1975, Three Rivers Bank of Montana’s founder, Jack King, created the Highlander Track Club. The purpose of the club was to introduce local youth to track and field and to encourage physical activity. The participants are coached by local high school track and field athletes. For three weeks, they practice track and field events and then participate in two track meets. The Highlander Track Club is sanctioned by the U.S. Track and Field Association.

Three Rivers Bank of Montana sponsors the club and there is no charge to participate. Over the years, thousands of youth have participated in the Highlander Track and Cross Country Clubs. Many participants continue their involvement with track and cross country into their high school and college years. These programs have inspired other communities to implement similar programs in their areas.

Registration forms for the 2024 season will be available March 29 and we ask that you drop off your signed form by April 5 at any Three Rivers Bank branch. The first practice is scheduled for April 11 at both Flathead High (Legends Stadium) and Glacier High. We will have two meets at Legends Stadium on April 24 and May 7. More details will be provided shortly and communication will be established through the Remind app.
